This policy covers damages to the building site and the liability of the future owner with respect to neighbours during the construction term. We can offer your company a customised policy for a specific construction project or a block policy.
Standard contract documents 250 (type contract documents): public work contracts based on standard contract documents 250 may require the contractor to take out a 10-year liability insurance. We help you check the contract documents and provide you with a competitive proposal drawn up in accordance with the standard contract documents. We can also take out the 10-year liability insurance on your behalf, if required for the award of the contract.

If your commission and ensuing liability as an architect, consulting engineer or consultant firm exceeds the coverage provided in your general professional liability policy, then you can fully cover your liability risks by taking out a single-site policy.
10-year liability
for contractors, future proprietors/property developers, architects, consulting engineers and consultant firms
This policy covers the special liability under sections 1792 and 2270 of the Belgian Civil Code: the liability for apparent and hidden defects that could endanger a building’s stability for a term of ten years as of practical or final completion.
Standard contract documents 250 (type contract documents): public work contracts based on standard contract documents 250 may require the contractor to take out a 10-year liability insurance. We help you check the contract documents and draw up a competitive proposal for the audit insurance.
